Privacy that matches the way Filivox works.
This policy describes the behavior implemented in the current Filivox website and processing service. It does not describe features that have not been built.
Last updated September 6, 2026Files processed in the browser
Several Filivox tools operate entirely in the browser. For those tools, a selected File object is read by the page and the result is created locally. The application does not send that input to a Filivox upload library.
Browser results use temporary object URLs so they can be downloaded. Those URLs are released when the result is cleared or the relevant page is left, and the browser clears the in-memory file state when the page is closed.
Files sent to the processing service
System-backed tools send the selected input and the options needed for the operation to the processing service configured for the website. The organization operating that service controls its hosting environment.
The request can contain the selected file data, the original file name, the requested tool, and the options needed for the operation. A password value is included only when the user supplies one for a workflow that needs it.
The service writes a temporary working directory, uses it for the operation, returns the output, and removes the directory in a cleanup step. The current service does not create a user file library or retain a processed result for later browsing.
What the website does not currently use
The current default application has no account system, loaded advertising script, analytics SDK, cookie banner, cookie-based preference system, localStorage use, sessionStorage use, or IndexedDB store. It does not build a behavioral profile from tool use.
The application does set page titles and descriptions for navigation and search presentation. That is page metadata, not a tracking system. Hosting infrastructure outside the application may keep ordinary technical logs; those logs are controlled by the environment where the site is hosted.
Contact email
Filivox does not currently receive contact messages through a website form. If you email info@filivox.com, your message, address, attachments, and email headers are handled by the email providers involved in sending and receiving that message. Filivox does not route that message through the file-processing service.
Do not send a file or password by email unless it is necessary and you are comfortable sharing it. Email retention and security also depend on the providers used by the sender and recipient.
When this policy changes
If Filivox adds accounts, analytics, advertising, persistent file storage, or a hosted contact form, this page will need to change with it. The date below identifies the version currently published with the application.
