Terms for using Filivox.
These terms explain the basic agreement for using the current Filivox website. They are written around the tools that are actually available today.

Filivox provides a directory of file tools and interfaces for running those tools. Depending on the operation, work happens in your browser or through the configured Filivox processing service. The current site does not require an account and does not offer a paid checkout flow.
The directory and its processing paths may change. A tool can be corrected, limited, replaced, or removed when its behavior or supporting engine changes.
Your files and your permission to use them
You are responsible for the files you choose and the instructions you submit. Only process material you own or are authorized to handle. That includes documents protected by a password, signed files, media containing someone else, and files subject to workplace or contractual restrictions.
A tool can transform a file, but it does not give you permission to use the source material or bypass a restriction. You remain responsible for checking that the requested operation is lawful and appropriate.
Processing and results
File conversion and analysis can fail because of damaged input, unsupported structures, missing codecs, or limits in the underlying format. A successful download is not a guarantee that the result is suitable for every purpose.
Review important output before relying on it. If a result affects a legal filing, financial decision, accessibility obligation, security decision, or production workflow, validate it with the tools and people appropriate to that situation.
Reasonable use
Do not use Filivox to attack the service, bypass its size limits, send malicious requests, or interfere with another person’s access. Do not submit files or content that you are not allowed to process.
The limits shown by the application and processing service exist to keep the tools usable and to prevent a single request from consuming the whole local service.
Availability and changes
Filivox is provided as an evolving project rather than a guaranteed service level. Browser support, external engines, operating-system tools, and file formats can affect availability. We may update the directory, interface, or processing behavior without preserving every previous result or workflow.
